Base Camp fails to recognise my Montana 650t

With my old laptop I had no problem using basecamp with my Montana650t. However I have a new laptop and basecamp refuses to recognise my Montana650t. Not sure what I can do? I welcome any ideas of where I am going wrong. Thank you.
