    Request: list multi selection

I'd like to request a feature: the ability to select (with Ctrl+Click and Shift+Click) multiple lists/folders for map display. Right now, unless I am missing something, lists/folders can only be selected one at a time.

What I'd like would be something like this (the image is false):

    Thank you
  • This "multi-select" feature would be awesome!

Sometimes, when building a trip, I just want to see if there are any points from a different folder (such as a previous trip or a list of HD dealerships, or DDD locations) that would be convenient for the new trip. I don't actually want to move all of them or any of them unless I find something specific.

We have a separate Mac OSX BaseCamp forum. I would repost your issue there. Our Mac developers monitor that forum.

    Problem with Hints

When pointing to a route BC shows an informative hint with route data. At least that is what it is supposed to do. Instead, most of the time the hint shows the totally unhelpful name of the underlying data (road, park, city, ocean, whatever). The end result is that no matter where you place the mouse pointer along the route you never get the route hint. :( The image below shows the problem:

The only way to force BC to show the hint for the route is to change the map detail view to "Lowest" and hope (!) that the route will be drawn a little distance away from the road. In those few and sadly rare instances the separation is enough for BC not to "see" the road and the hint shows the correct data. See the image below:

    Garmin, kindly correct this, please.

    Thanks

Thank you for the feedback. I will open up a case for this.

Thank you for the feedback. I will open up a case for this.
While you're doing that, could you please try to do something about route traces covering road identification information? The first image in post #58 is a perfect example of this problem. Even though the route trace (the purple line) is thin, it covers one of the digits (the "9") in the highway identifier and this makes it VERY difficult to create a route and then identify all the roads on a printed map of the route.

    Thanks.
  • I believe there is already a case for this, but jm47048 will no doubt confirm.
