Monterra Waypoint Photos

I have a new Monterra purchased only a couple of months ago.
When I mark a new waypoint, I add notes and a photo. When I try and view the photo on BC it gives me an http address that does not include any photo data. How can I view these photos? Should I just use the camera function instead of taking a photo as part of the waypoint information?

Hello Tas,

Just guessing here but you might try exporting your track and waypoints from BaseCamp to Google Earth.

Then on GE, click on a waypoint and see if a photo pops up??

Bummer,

I confess....I have never used a gps that also took pictures.

I have used a digital camera and geo-coded the pics with a software (not BaseCamp) and they displayed on GE nicely.

I am guessing that the photos in your Montana are already geo-coded and you have just not figured out how to use them in BaseCamp.

I will look thru the Help section in BaseCamp and see if anything makes sense. :)
