Copied map from Basecamp to GPSmap 62s but can't view it

Hi,
I have a subscription to Birds Eye and have several Ordnance Survey map areas on my GPSmap 62s. Yesterday I copied another map area (Ordnance Survey) from Basecamp to the 62s. The area shows properly on Basecamp view, but not on the 62s. If I zoom all the way out I can see that there is a map there, but it's too far out to be useful! As soon as I zoom in it disappears. The new area is immediately alongside an area I downloaded previously, and that previous area is visible and useable. I have used underscores instead of spaces in the map name.

Well first try eliminating the underscore as I have no idea whether they're allowed or not.

Out of interest when you say you 'copied' another map area how did you do that? If you right clicked your 62 in Basecamp and selected 'Install map' then I'd try installing it again in case there was an issue sending it.

I'm assuming the OS map is from Garmins Discoverer series?

Underscores eliminated. Map deleted from device and re-sent. Confirmed that I can see it on Basecamp 62s internal storage. Still not visible on the 62s.

I tried to 'install' this time, but I am told there are no unlocked maps. I didn't 'install' the first time, just 'send to'. I'm sure that's what I did for the other maps.

Yes, the map is from Garmin's store - 1:25k OS map. I bought 1500km of maps.

Ah OK I understand now. You're talking about BirdsEye Select mapping. I haven't installed that for a while. You're correct in that it's a 'send to' from BaseCamp.

Why it's working in BC and not on your 62 though I have no idea.

Birdseye imagery, just as with other maps, can be disabled in devices. As I recall it is disabled/enabled as a feature not by region.

This is for the Oregon 6xx models but the 62S should be similar.

Thanks. I have Birds Eye mapping enabled. I can see all my map areas except for the one I created yesterday.
