Having just experimented with some printing for the first time in a very long time, I can't remember whether this is possible or not. I have a topo with many waypoints, and although I can make just the symbols appear, I can't seem to have the white box disappear if I want to have the names display, just as printing on the map.
If it's not possible, this might be a neat thing for a future version. I know it can be done on some other types of mapping software.
