The white lines are map segment lines (I think), and can't be removed...the dark lines are the Grid lines and are useful to get your paper map "North up"
Do these grid lines show up on all your maps or only this one? If so, which map is it?
Also, do they show up only when you try to print or all the time?

lines appear ONLY on print setup/preview form, thats the whole point i'm trying to make! There are no lines in the actual map, thats exactly why i don't need these fake lines
Try the "print screen" button, than open up "paint" (if you are on a windows machine) right click on the new page, paste your image and "crop" your image. Maybe that way the lines are left out....
Interesting thread. Learned a little bit. Some of those lines seem to be paper cut lines for taping small printouts together to form a larger map. OP may find that downloading a virtual PDF printer and selecting a custom larger paper size can be educational. It appears that Basecamp may support larger format printers.
