I've copied the map files from the Nuvi device to my PC, hoping I could set up some routes without the GPS needing to be plugged in. I can't find any way to load the map into Basecamp... Am I missing something? Thanks!
No, that's not the way you do it. If you simply want to copy the maps they need to be on a sd card or memory stick. Or you need to set up a virtual disk drive.
True, but the real question is why did Garmin remove the option to select an install location for the map when installing to computer. It used to be there.
