But you could create a route from the waypoints and do some math by hand. Not great I know but this might be something we add in the future. Thanks for the feedback!
In the developer's defense :), the method given avoids errors in placement using the measure tool and should be more accurate assuming enough significant digits appear in the result.
No he's right. I should have known that. *facepalm*. But that's okay. BaseCamp has tons of features so it's hard to remember all of them :) Good catch!
