Hi, I had an issue where I could not install Basecamp on my 8.1 machine, because it kept on asking for Windows Media Player greater than 11 to be installed. My windows installation insisted that it was installed. Luckily I read a thread here to extract the files from the .exe file, and run BCIMain. I downloaded Uniextractor, and did just that. Problem solved. No thanks to Garmin support, who have left me hanging for days.
Still don't agree with having to have a check for WMP anyway.
