G’day,
Firstly before I get into my question, this question is not about Basecamp. It is about my ZUMO390LM. Unfortunately I was unable to find any ZUMO Forum, let alone ZUMO 390LM. Heck I couldn't even see a motorcycle category on the Forum Start screen. Can the site admin please set up a motorcycle category and ZUMO threads since they market these ZUMO's specifically for motorcycle riders, I would have though that to be appropriate !
The Questions:
Can anybody tell me how to skip a waypoint during a ride on a ZUMO 390LM ?
The Background:
I was 200km from Home somewhere in the sticks and not quite sure which way was home. So I started my ZUMO 390LM, clicked on the GO HOME option in the WHERE TO and the Zumo started to calculate the route. As I was riding along it occurred to me that I may not have enough fuel to make it home so while riding I clicked on EXIT SERVICES to find the nearest petrol station on route. The Zumo come up with 5, all about 20Km away from where I was at the time. I selected one and it asked me whether I wanted a NEW ROUTE or AD TO CURRENT ROUTE. I selected the latter of course and it added that waypoint and recalculated the route. So far so good.
When I got closer to the petrol station I noticed that it wasn’t one close to the road as I could see on the screen that it involved 2 round-about and crossing over to other side somewhere further a field. I then decided that I simply ignore that waypoint (petrol Station) and continue on the road and hope I find one ON this road later. However, my ZUMO of course thought that I simply missed the turn off and started to instruct me to take every turn off thereafter so it can lead me back to the one I “missed”.
Hence the Question above, how do I while riding tell ZUMO to ignore a waypoint and continue on the route to the next.
Thanks
