Where BaseCamp stores data?

Hi,

I'm going to upgrade my PC and I'll need to move entire BaseCamp data from an old to new PC sop I'm curious what is the best solution?
What is the easiest method to backup and restore data?

You can use the Basecamp Export/Import function, or simply do what I do which is copy the database manually. You don't say which OS you're on but in Win 7 it's at C:\users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Basecamp\Database

To move maps use JaVaWa's GMTK http://www.javawa.nl/gmtk_en.html

I use Backup feature under “file”,and copy the backup file on the USB stick ,and with this file I restore database including BirdsEye images on other computers. This will not work if you try to restore database on XP machine (V 4.2.5) with Backup file created on new version of BaseCamp.(V 4.4.6)
