Adding points to an existing track not working anymore

I used to be able to add more points to an existing track by hitting the insert button. Now when I hit the insert it only allows me to insert a point in between two existing points of the track, Basecamp doesn't allow me to extend my track by adding to the end anymore. Is this something that been changed in the latest update and is a bug, or have this option been removed?

This is a known issue and a case has been written. It is scheduled for a future release to fix. Thank you for the feedback.

Two workarounds in the meantime should you need them.

Convert track to route. Extend it and convert back to track.

or

Create new track then join the two.

I though i was going crazy because I am sure that this worked in the past! Very annoying bug!

When is this issue going to be fixed?

Probably in the next update would be my guess. But the work arounds are simple enough.
