I was planning a MC-trip with friends and I did the planning in BaseCamp. When I connected my nuvi500 I could not transfer the route and waypoints.
We did the trip and I wanted to load the info from my GPS into BaseCamp and same problem, I cannot see the device and cannot transfer. I can see both the device and card in Win7.
In BC clicking on Device and "Check for Device Software Update" I can update my GPS with latest software.
Then I see there is a line almost in top of screen saying" Basecamp found some new tracks on your nuvi500. Click here for options.
I have two options: "Create Adventure" and "Don't show this message again".
I choose Adventure and I can see 5 Active logs from our trip.
I can create an Adventure but I don't want that, I want to copy my files normal way to my computer.
To get the 5 Active logs into my computer and BC I have to close and start BC 5 times!! I can only copy one file every time and the special line disappear! 0
I have the latest version 4.4.4 and I have also tried to update drivers in Win7 for the nuvi500 (6.1.7600.16385).
Can someone tell me what has happened and how to solve this?
I have had the nuvi500 6-7 months and used BaseCamp for planning and documenting trips at least 15 times without any problem.
