I have Garmin Basecamp 4.4.4.
I have spotted a potential problem with the Points of Interest Filter.
I do the following steps
1. Left Click Find in the menu toolbar.
2. Left Click Find Points of Interest in the drop down menu.
3. The Points of Interest Panel Opens on the Right hand side of the screen.
4. Regardless of the category that I choose in the "All Points of Interest" drop down menu,
the results that are given in the list below show locations related to other categories.
For example under the "Fuel", I see entries for Restaurants, Lodgings and Cities.
Even a refresh (using the circular arrow icon) will not align the results with the chosen
category.
Also, when I connect my Garmin device, enable the Custom POI files on the device to
be shown on the map in Basecamp and select Custom POIs on the Point of Interest
on the right; the personal Custom POIs are not listed.
This was working fine the previous version of Basecamp.
I think that there may be a problem with the POI filters in Basecamp.
Is this a known problem? i.e. can anyone else recognise this problem?
Is there a solution?
Is Garmin aware of it?
Is Garmin investigating this problem?
