IMO, one of the more important beginner steps is the EDIT>Options. I think it's now buried in the menu under EDIT>OPTIONS. Options is so important to begin with, why not make it a Title on the Menu Bar? FILE OPTIONS EDIT DEVICE FIND VIEW and so on....
I feel OPTIONS is a function rather than Edit function.
