Astro 320 won't enter Basecamp when plugged into PC

Hey Guys,
I have a new Astro 320. When I plug it into a PC via the usb cable - it prompts me asking if I want to enter basecamp mode. I select yes. But it doesn't enter basecamp mode.
If you launch BaseCamp does it detect the device when it is in this mode? Also this sounds more like a device related issue and we recommend contacting customer support.
