Vehicle Profile on Nuvi 2595LMT

Hello,
Is it possible to set up ANY vehicle profile information on the 2595 without the eco-route HD accessory?

On the trip statistics screen where it shows distance traveled, time remaining, arrival time, max speed etc....it also shows FUEL COSTS

But if you can't set the current price of fuel or your vehicle's fuel efficiency without purchasing the eco-route HD device, I don't see the point in it being displayed at all.

I'm unclear what you're talking about here, is this in Basecamp?

Well without an ecoroute HD your 2595LMT has no way, except by estimation (pretty useless IMO), of determining how much fuel has been used. The HD gets actual data from your vehicles computer via the OBD-II interface and sends it to your device via bluetooth.

I wouldn't say the other data on that screen is useless but that is your call.

You could try http://forums.gpsreview.net/categories/garmin-auto-forum-garmin-nuvi-forum or http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=172&sortfield=lastpost&sortorder=0&whichpage=1 for further help on this, but on my 2508 there is an Ecoroute App under Apps that allows you to enter your estimation of mpg, fuel price etc. That would at least give you some idea.
