errorReportForm:errorDescription Driving to the south over the Rue de la Brasserie (leaving the center of Ligne), at the junction with the N7, it is according to the map not possible to cross the N7 and enter the Chemin Du Chasteler (direction Moulbaix). I joined a picture from Google Streetview. The blue jeep is coming from the Rue de la Brasserie, and can perfectly follow the red arrow to enter the Chemin Du Chasteler. -- Map Error reported from BaseCamp --

I don't recall who the map data provider in Europe is but in North America it's better to report map errors to NAVTEQ. Garmin simply forwards them (maybe) anyway.

I used to think this also, and at one time even registered as a "NAVTEQ Reporter". But their web interface was just awful and slow, very frustrating. Since then I've submitted some things through the BaseCamp "Report Map Error" menu pick, and have had some feedback from someone whose signature included "Garmin Cartography Department". Our exchange convinced me that there are in fact mapping people within Garmin who receive our map error submissions and decide the best way to handle them. I have no doubt that many do get forwarded to the appropriate map data supplier, but I think there are things Garmin can do internally. So now I always use the BC menu pick.

That said, map changes do take WAY to long to make it into updated maps (in some cases, years!). If you compare the time Google takes to pick up road changes to what it takes Garmin maps, the CEO of Garmin should be ashamed of the comparison.
