I created a Hiking route in BaseCamp. I gave BaseCamp the starting and ending points on a trail and BaseCamp created a route that looks great - following the map's trail contours all the way. No problem so far...
I uploaded the route to my Montana 650, but the device shows the route as a straight line between the starting and ending points - ignoring the trails on the map. I have the same maps loaded on both BaseCamp and the Device. (SE Topo 24K). I checked the settings on the device and everything seems correct...
How do a get a planned route to display along the known trail on the device? Where am I going wrong?
