How can I filter out geocaches from the map view? (4.4.2/650t)

First, I'm a Basecamp fan even though the UI is a little gnarly. I'm using 4.4.2 and I have a Garmin 650t with a MicroSD card.

When I select Memory Card/User Data in the data/navigation pane (on my LH side), the map view shows me EVERYTHING.

In particular, the geocaches are covering up the entire map. I would like to be able to work in the User Data context but filter the map view so I'm only seeing my waypoints. This is important for planning routes, seeing POIs, making sure I have the right waypoints set up, etc.

Can I do this? If not, any tips?

That's the way it works. The answer would be to copy the data you want to see into another list in the top left hand pane. Basecamp will only show the data in the selected list/folder so by then selecting that list you won't see the geocaches.

Already on the list I think. You can filter what is shown in the lower left hand pane, what has been suggested is that when you apply a filter only those filtered items should be shown on the map. That would resolve your issue.
