Create route from Named trail - invalid route

I want to create a route from Named trail I found in Basecamp. However, after I use feature called Create Route From Named Trail" a route is created which looks only like a fragment of Named trail. Screens attached. Is it a bug or maybe I'm missing something?

Know bug or feature.

In the toolbar, change the activity to Direct and try again.

Note that once you have the route you can then select whichever activity you want for the route, it needn't stay in Direct.

And this which ever activity is in the route properties, not the one in the toolbar, that on is only if you import a route which does not contain a activity profile or if you create a route yourself. (or by conversion from a track to a route)

Thanks for answers but this didn't help. With Direct activity type I still get only a small portion of Named trail. Any other ideas? Looks like a bug to me.

Don't have a problem with it, are you able to post the .gpx file here so we can look at it?
