Hello
Well I'm trying to finish getting familiar with my 62ST unit and Basecamp and how it all works. I recently re-formatted my desktop computer running Win7. I made a backup file in Basecamp before the re-format and after installing Basecamp in the new install, ran the backup file and most everything came back.
I saved an archive folder with all the Birdseye .jnx files that I have accumulated.
So I'm trying to understand where Basecamp puts all the data in My Collection. When I download a new Birdseye .jnx file, it shows up in a folder here;
C:\users\user\Appdata\Local\Garmin\Basecamp\Devicecashe\3816081243.. But not all the Birdseye titles that are listed in the Basecamp dropdown menu are in that folder.
When I plug the 62ST in the computer via USB port, it assigns it drive F:\ In that, is a Birdseye folder where all the active Birdseye files are, that will show up on the 62ST.
If I want to use a Birdseye .jnx file that is in my archive folder, do I just cut and paste it in the F:\Birdseye folder or do I put them in the above C:\ users....\jnx files folder first?
Hope this makes sense.. Thanks for the help
