I have created a route of 23 hours total moving travel time. Double clicking on the route allows me to view the route properties. Within this properties display I can add layover time for some via points such as for a hotel. The arrive and depart times for each correctly reflect the layover times, however the "total time" column does not reflect the layover time. Is this how Total Time should be interpreted or only as moving time?
Would you be willing to share this route with me? Can you send it to ? I would like to have a look. I would be better able to answer the question and/or open a case if necessary.
I believe that I've also reported this at some point. It's easy to reproduce:
Create a route with a start, a finish and at least one intermediate waypoint. Note the total time shown for the route. Double-click the intermediate waypoint and set a layover of 20 minutes. Note the total time shown has not altered even though arrival at the finish is now 20 minutes later.
I have recreated what you are seeing. I have opened a case. I am not sure if this is by design or not. I am checking on that and I will let you know. Thanks for the feedback.

Ive tried uploading the file but the system wont upload it for some reason. But I see someone as provided a description that illustrates the issue I raised.
The time of day is important for me because I am planning a trip that has to be completed within 36 hours. So my layover times are very important to correctly plan.
I have used BaseCamp for several years and it had never included layover times in the total time. The total time is moving time. However, if you have a start time assigned to your start point it will give you an arrival time that includes the layover times.
