How delete old maps for Base Camp and in nuvi2455?

Trying to clean up my HD.
Base camp indicates I have 2014.4, 2015.1 & 2015.2 installed. in C:\Program Data\Garmin\Maps etc
Problem is I can't find the folder to delete the two old map files using Win Explorer

ALSO my nuvi 2455LM memory is red and almost full. When I check MyMaps to see what I can clear out no maps are shown.

If I simply plug in a USB I find lots of foreign language files and other stuff filling up the onboard 3.6GB (only 180MB free)
1. I assume I can delete all the language files except those ending in .en
2. Same for Voice files

You uninstall the maps from the Control Panel under Programs and Features. You don't just delete the folders.

As to the GPS, there must be something on there taking up space. Does a map show up on the device when plugged into Basecamp? They are stored in a hidden folder and we can explain how to find it if needed.

Yes, you can delete voice and language files. Other things are track archives in Garmin/GPX/archive/

There must be a map showing or your nuvi won't work?

You can delete unwanted text, keyboard, voice, vehicle, help and EULA files.

U can't see the map folder (.system) on your Nuvi because its a hidden folder. U need to configure your PC to show hidden files and folders, u find this option in the folder settings on your PC.

If u disconnect the Nuvi from your PC, are u still able to see the maps on your PC? Most of the time BC reads the maps from your Nuvi, and they aren't actually installed on your PC. If the maps are installed on your PC u should be able to uninstall the tru the controlle panel > Programs and features.
