i have a 655 and am connected to basecamp. it shows the device in the left hand menu but also says it cannot find a device to get data from. Any guidance would be appreciated, thanks
When you say it shows in the left hand menu, I assume it's showing in the top left hand pane? When you select the folder under the device name what do you see in the bottom left hand pane?
yes 655 Rino. it shows the device and unit ID and under it it shows the basestation folder but it is empty. when i click on device in the main menu and click on receive from device it brings up a screen that shows devices but is empty. so it is seeing the device but not seeing it, thanks
What do you expect to see? Sorry but I'm not familiar with the Rhino range and am therefore unsure how well Basecamp interacts with it, particularly when in Basestation mode.
tried several times to reboot both PC and unit. finally took the unit off basestation interface and it works! go figure. thanks for trying to help again!
No problem. Maybe in basestation mode you can't read what's on the device? I'm not a basestation expert but someone else may be able to comment on whether that is the case.
