basecamp or Training Center - Workflow?

I have always just been using Training Center to upload tracks from my Forerunner-205 GPS, and manage them there. One main thing I like is the "Export to Google Earth" feature, and another main attraction is the time/distance/speed graphs.

But occasionally I get some glitches, some from my error (not turning off between sessions), sometimes from unknown sources.

So I found I could export the tracks, and edit them in BaseCamp. But then what? Can I re-import them into TC, and have them with all the others in the archive? Or should I somehow switch to BC for overall import and management of tracks, or...?? Using BC I don't see how to get the time/speed graphs.

Do they share a common database? Can Edit in BC, and see the change in TC? OR ...?

I have not tried this specifically, but GPX is a common export/import format.

    Hello GR,

After editing in Basecamp add something to the file name like "edited" so you know which one is which, then click the edited file once then click > File > Export > Pick a folder or make a new one > change type to TCX if you have fitness data like HR etc > Save.

Then in Training Center click > File > Import to current user > browse to your folder containing the edited file > Open.

The edited file will show up at the top of the list.
