Basecamp/Nuvi2797 "repeats" certain waypoints (adds a numeric suffix)

I'm a bit puzzled by something that's happening when I create routes in Basecamp for my Nuvi2797. Many of my routes start with my "HOME" saved place and I store about 20 routes on the 2797 when I plan various trips. I noticed that, although I always use the saved/memorized "Home" as my start point, the various routes come up with Home1, Home2, Home3...... Home31, Home32, etc. for the same point and these extra names also find their way into the list of saved places. Its annoying to have to erase 20 - 30 variations of the same point. This did not happen with my Nuvi 1450-1490 and Mapsource. Any ideas what is causing this and how to prevent it.

I am having the same problem with Basecamp and a Nuvi 2597.

I have that same problem as well along with my 2597 still not showing Junction View from my basecamp routes.

Not sure about the other issue but the junction view is possibly due to different maps on Basecamp and your nuvi, at least that's been an issue before.
