According to the above system requirements, the update 4.3.5 could be installed only on Windows Vista Software, Service Pack 2 or later.
In my opinion the statement "or later" concerns the Service Pack of Vista: Service Pack 2 or 3 or 4, etc. and not other new Windows Systems as Windows 7 or Windows 8. Now, what is correct? I suppose the later (W7, W8...) but in such case, still in my opinion, Garmin should exclude a possible misunderstanding by adding the other Windows Systems, as for example: “”Windows Vista Service Pack 2 or later, Windows 7, Windows 8, are required””

The language Garmin uses is standard in the software industry. Some use "higher" instead of "later" but the meaning is the same. The meaning is that the stated operating system version is the minimum on which the software will operate/run. "Later" or "Higher" means anything up to and including the currently available OS. It does not mean that the software will run on any future OS (currently unknown). For example it may or may not run on Windows 9 (not yet available).

    To state it mathematically:

Stated OS version <= supported <= currently available OS version
