I have just returned from a short trek, where I recorded my track using British Grid coordinates. The elevation profile on the Etrex 20 correctly shows a maximum elevation of 987m. When I import the track to Basecamp and display the same elevation plot, the maximum elevation is 2827 ft. Can you suggest what I might be doing wrong? Could there be a bug in the metre -> feet conversion, or something else?
