BaseCamp in WSG84 like to make a folder in NAD27(Canada) can it be done

Hi there

I like to plot waypoints camp sites in Nad27 so I can match with my map if needed can I just make a folder in NAD27 and then go back to my other folders which are in WSG84

not sure if it can be done

any ideas would be great

When you change datum in the setup, the coordinates will all change. You need to make sure the correct datum is chosen when manually entering coordinates. They will always plot correctly if entered correctly. simply change the settings to view the coordinates in whatever datum you wish to use at that time.

Hello LWM,

Changing the Datum only affects the elevation.

Changing the Grid only affects the coordinates.

There is no NAD27 Grid option.
You will have to set that up yourself with a "User Defined Grid" and it will be in meters.
