Edge 1000 OSM Map

Hello,

is it possible to install the Edge 1000 OSM bike map on the computer? It would be nice not to have to connect the edge 1000 to the computer everytime i want to plan a new route/track.

Currently this is not supported.

You can create a virtual microSD card.

I use the following: http://reboot.pro/files/file/284-imdisk-toolkit/

You have to make sure the drive is indicated as removable. If the virtual drive has maps in the \Garmin folder on the virtual drive, BaseCamp will find them.

Note that you can also get maps that are based on the OSM maps from the following:

http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/

I believe the "openfiets" versions are closest to Garmin versions of the OSM maps. Keep in mind that these maps all use exact same source for their maps.
