lost map road detail

I just updated my zumo 350L with the latest software and maps. Also updated basecamp. At first the map update would not take all the data so I installed a 8GB micro card. It then completed the update. When I view maps on basecamp there is very little road detail that was there before. I've tried all the map selections available in basecamp. If I plan a route it will only put me on major higways and will plot very convienent paved roads to get from point A to point B. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Is this with your Zumo plugged in, or did you download maps to your computer for Basecamp to use?

If with your Zumo plugged in have you allowed time for the maps on your Zumo/card to be indexed by Basecamp, which it needs to do on first use. This can take a while and until it completes Basecamp is unable to use them. You will know they're being indexed as there is a green progress bar that runs underneath your Zumo/card in the top left hand pane.

The zumo is plugged into the computer and yes I have been waiting for basecamp to index the map from the zumo. I did watch the green bar go to the end. Also when I did the last download I selected the option to download the map to both the zumo and basecamp. I see NT 2015.10 in both the Maps toolbar in basecamp and Devices/Zumo in the top left sidebar pane. Currently looking at my basecamp and no change. Thanks.

So 2015.10 is selected in Maps? And detail level is set to Highest?

When you look at View the 'basic map only' is not selected?

2015.10 is selected in Maps. I unselected 'basic map only' in views but no change. I just found detail level under view/toolbars. I selected it but nothing showed up.

If you selected 'Detail level' you should now have a drop down box in the second row down, along with the other drop down boxes. Ensure Highest is selected.
