I haven't been able to find one, but is there a list of Garmin units with the capability to upload a pre-created route from software, such as Basecamp? I'm looking to create some routes on basecamp for the snowmobile season and then upload them to the gps for viewing and route assistance.
The fact that Garmin doesn't clearly identify the units that have this capability is yet another indication that the people who care about such things aren't the target demo. SUSSAMB's information is as good as it gets.
In a perfect world, the Garmin website would have a section devoted to the advantages of using a device in conjunction with a computer, along with a list of the devices that supported such activity. Might even include a table that illustrated how the devices that supported computer interactivity were different (trips vs. routes & all the rest).
