(At the time of posting this link still points to version 4.3.4. This will shortly be updated.)

• Fixed various issues when a device is unplugged while BaseCamp is using it
• Fixed application sizing issues on Windows 8

Post here if you have questions.

The non-English language version of the software will be available through the in-application software update check shortly.

Please post any bugs you may find here.

Thank you all in advance for any feedback you may have.

Something is wrong with 4.3.5 ...
I got greyed zoom portion of map on City Navigator North America NT 2015.10 (who now take 10 to 20 seconds to get correctly displayed !!!), but every thing is fine with few old maps ex. City Navigator North America NT 2014.40 zooms as fast as I used my mouse wheel !
what is wrong with BaseCamp ? NT 2015.10 was ok before the upgrade !!!!
Gezzz can I roll back to something that work correctly ???

NEVER upgrade before next morning trip !!! NEVER upgrade to untested Garmin stuf !!!!
• I wonder if the mac one points to the Windows manual

No. The URL to the mac version is static.garmincdn.com/.../Default.htm the Windows URL is static.garmincdn.com/.../Default.htm.
Probably someone copied the Mac manual twice to the Garmin servers...
At least the manual for 4.2.x still works: replace 4_3 with 4_2 in the URL.

I cannot promise when any one particular issue will be fixed, but I am making sure that it is a known problem to our team.

Basecamp won't start

I regret that I cannot get BC 4.3.5 to start. I had the same difficulty with 4.3.4 and, noting that others were experiencing apparently similar problems, hoped that 4.3.5 would fix it, but no joy.

The install is on a new Samsung ATIV Book 9 (Core i5 - 4200, 4 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD) running Win 8.1 x64 with Spring Update and all current patches.

I have installed and uninstalled BC. I have cleaned the system (files, folders and registry) of all references to BC and reinstalled again: same symptom. There is a momentary flash of something loading and then nothing more.

On failure the program produces files entitled 'Report.wer' of 14.7 KB in various folders. In addition the Windows event log produces two application error entries and a .net runtime error entry for each attempt to start the program. However, I regret that I cannot interpret the entries sufficiently to identify cause of the error.

Running SFC reports no errors. Similarly, running the NetFxRepairTool does not produce any obvious solutions or results.

I have BC running satisfactorily on a Win7 x64 system and, other than the odd glitch reported in this forum, I have had no significant installation difficulties with it.

Is there anyone here who to whom I might be able to send the logs for a bit of interpretative help (or even, if thought appropriate, were I to post them here)?

TIA
• Either post the logs here or send them to [email protected]

The team might be along shortly with alternative suggestions but nothing in your post rings a bell with me.

Try to install it with another display resolution, upscale it.
see here
Then if it installs you can go back to normal res.
• New update, but i still miss s0mething from and older version, 4.3.3 or what it is.

I really miss the option that I could see all the trips on a sertian track when i hold the mouse over it.
Eks. on a road i have ride/walked 5-6-7 times, and have adjusted the tracks so they lay on eachother. Old verison I could then see a box whith all the tracks, and then click on the wanted track. That is not possioble now.

Sorry for my bad english. Anyone understand?
