Waypoints-Easily Identify Multiple References

I have a folder named "Master Waypoint Folder" that contains 683 waypoints. This folder contains the complete list of waypoints that I want to upload to my Nuvi 755t or Oregon 450t.

The "My Collection" folder contains 718 waypoints implying that 35 waypoints are present in other lists that are not in the Master folder.

How can I easily identify these 35 extra waypoints in order to decide which should be copied to the Master folder? Opening each waypoint and looking at the Reference tab is too time consuming.

I'd send the 683 to a sd card or usb stick, then delete them from Basecamp. That will leave the remaining ones.

another option: Open your master Waypoint Folder and change the symbol for all of the waypoints to something you are not currently using. Then, open My Collection and sort the waypoints by symbol.

Neat ... as long as you can be sure about the symbol choice. Of course you're then stuck with the master list all with the same symbol, which may or may not suit.

The same general idea, but use a field that you don't care about... something like temperature. Then the ones without a temperature are the missing waypoints. (then you won't lose your waypoint symbols)

We are investigating ways to make this easier to do in the future.

Thanks for the replies. The Temperature field is a good work around since I do not use it for anything. Good luck with a permanent solution in a future release.
