How Export Device Trip Log to Basecamp?

I have an 855 Nuvi. I can see the Trip Log on the Nuvi Display as it tracks my meanderings and wrong turns.
How can I display the trip log onto Basecamp?

I have found GPX data on the Nuvi but those appear to be the planned routes and not the actual travel.
THere are 3 files, current, position and temp.........all .gpx.

Your experience to help understand if this is possible would be appreciated!

If you connect your nuvi to your mac it should appear in Basecamp, and the track log should be visible.
