Adventures not loading from basecamp 4.3.4 to Oregon 450

I have searched the web and forums. I've tried everything I can and I cannot get adventures to download and display using the adventure icon on the Oregon 450. They show in Basecamp look like they have downloaded but are not there when the device is unhooked from the pc. When I explore the device memory I don't see that anything was loaded.
