Cloud storage problem

When I start Basecamp I always get the following error message:

"There was an error communicating with Cloud Data.
An error occurred while reading the file: Garmin/gpx/route_2014-03-30154154Z4.gpx"

Basecamp also shows 2 cloud data folders.

I cannot find this file anywhere. I completely deleted all data in the Cloud Data folders but nothing changed.

Is there a way to completely reset the Cloud data folder? ( and get rid of the second one...)

Same problem

Anyone have a workaround for this issue? It is a small but frustrating niggle that I am also experiencing.

I just developed the same issue yesterday. I have two cloud folders, both are empty, and on startup a similar message except maybe a thousand files it can't load. I do most of my routing on my desktop, some on a laptop, and want to bring a MS Surface Pro 3 into the mix.

HELP PLEASE?

The paths that you are seeing are relative to this folder:
C:\Users\<Windows_user_name>\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\BaseCamp\Database\4.5\gCloud\<Garmin_display_name>\<unique_id>\

Exit BaseCamp and then you can remove the problematic file(s) manually. We still need to improve our handling of file corruption here.

Hi, I´m not able to delete routes, tracks and waypoints from my Cloud storage. I select all points, click on delete and all points disappeared. But after synchronization, they are back.

Where/how are you selecting them? When you say you click on delete how are you doing that?

Hi,
click on cloud storage, select all (ctrl+A), right mouse click, click on delete; now I see "this list is empty"; wait for a few seconds -> all points, routes, tracks are back.

Have you tried deleting the data in the original folders/lists?

I've just tried this on my version of Basecamp and have no problem deleting data from the cloud, so I'm unsure what your problem could be. Are you running the latest version of BC as there were problems in earlier versions.

Maybee it´s due names with czech letters like "č", "ř", etc. I will write to Garmin support to erase my cloud.
