One aspect on MapSource I liked was being able to click on a route and drag it to another road without needing to build a new waypoint. If this function is available in BaseCamp it eludes me. Is this something that can be done, or was that done away with? If so, could someone please clue me in?
You can also right click and select "Insert into Route". I use this method. It also allows you to insert waypoints into the route if you hover over them. I don't know if the other methods allow that?
It does work pretty slick to just hover and click, and it adds the waypoint to the route in the correct place, and without opening the route properties window.
We redid a lot of the tools. Experiment a little. The panning tool (hand tool) now does a lot of what the edit tools do. You can still use the edit tools but we were trying to reduce clicks.
