Export part of map to StreetPilot 2720

I am sure this has been ask before, but I could not find the answer with a search.

I have a old Streetpilot 2720 and have been using MapSource. The current CNNANT map is too big to fit on the 2720's memory. With mapsource I can select only the lower 48 states and export the MAPs to my 2720.

With BC I can not find a way to select and export only part of the MAPS of the USA and then export to my 2720. Will BC 4.3.2 do what I want? or must I continue to use MS.

First off BaseCamp doesn't transfer maps (at all). What it does is invoke another program called MapInstall.

MapInstall, via it's "Advanced/Partial Install..." button, does allow you to select map tiles/segments/chunks just as MapSource does. Personally I prefer using MapSource.

And to do it in BC just right click the device and select Install maps, then as Stuart says MapInstall will launch ... just follow the wizard. Or you should be able to launch it directly through Programs, Garmin
