I have used Streets for years and decided, with Streets losing support next year, to try Basecamp(uploaded latest version). My frustration is beyond compare so I need help. I have always considered myself very computer literate, woked in computers for 30 years before retiring.
I am trying to create a multi-day trip from Richmond,VA to North Platte,NE with stops in between. I go to Trip Planner and put in Richmond as the Start and North Platte as the end. Crash. I shortened the trip and to 3 days and go from Richmond to Elkhart. We are a RV.
The Days show up but I don't seem to have any control. I have Day 1 working, with many crashes, and now am trying to work on Day 2. I would like to have Day 2 start where Day 1 ended and go to Zanesville,OH. If I don't like the route Basecamp selects I would like to force the route. Day 3 is from Zanesville to Elkhart,IN.
I have been working on this for hours and this is all I have to show. Numerous crashes when I try to add waypoints to the day.
I need some handholding I think or if there is a basic tutorial on how to do a multi-day trip that would be a start. Everything I have found is for a one day trip.
