I would like everyone to know that this was a very targeted fix. We are still working to improve a number of issues brought to our attention by this community. Thank you for all of your continued support and patience and the continued feedback that we receive. The feedback that we get is VERY valuable in what we do.

I assume users with a working version of BC 4.3.3 can skip this (?).

It is always recommended to have the latest, but there were not many changes from the last one to this one.

Well I asked because the ONLY change listed is for installer issues. Are there other changes to BC itself?

PS: Never mind. I've installed it on my Win7 PC since it sounds like there were other changes than that listed.

PPS: 4.3.4 is working fine. No install issues except for my usual complaint which is obviously being ignored.

There were other stability changes but nothing that would effect your work-flow in using the app.
  • Installed over 4.3.3 with no problems.....

Installed but 4.3.4 and 4.3.3 both will not transfer categories to my Nuvi 2595 with software vision 8.2

It sure would be nice to have that function back instead of stripping the categories and dumping all way points in one group.

I complained about that too. Categories are no longer associated with the list they are in. You have to define them in the waypoint properties. Fortunately you can multi select a number of waypoints and add the property category in the tab.

That's GREAT to hear!! Proper categories in the waypoint properties, finally, AND multiselect. It doesn't get any better than that. (Much applause to the desktop app developers!!) I may have to take another look at Basecamp.

Glad to hear that you approve! We work hard on this piece of software and while it has it's imperfections we do listen to the users and try to improve the experience. Thank you for this positive feedback!
