Backups not working? (Probable bug report)

My old backups (prior to version 4.3.3) took almost 200MB each but now they're 65MB. Because I was worried I examined the file, noticed it was a misnamed ZIP, renamed it, opened it and noticed that only 5 of my 22 custom maps are in there. I don't know how to do a full restore to prove this is the case without risking losing things. I don't know what else, if anything, is missing.

Anything I can do to help??

Additional information - I've installed and restored on a second PC. The database claims that all the custom maps are there, and the outlines are on the maps as expected, but there is only actually a map there for the 5 that are listed in the backup file. I think, but cannot easily confirm this as there are hundreds, that all routes, tracks and waypoints are correctly there.

Additional information (not that it looks like anyone cares): I removed all my custom maps from Basecamp and re-imported them. Now the backups do not contain ANY custom maps - this appears to be a direct contradiction of their online help files - these claim that Exporting doesn't include Maps/Overlays but Backups do. They don't. My backup is now 5MB and is missing 22 maps.
