emailing a route

I have a route in both base camp and my gps. I want to email the route to a friend but not only can't I figure out how to do it, but I can't even find where routes are stored in base camp or my gps.

Your best bet is in Basecamp.

Your route should be somewhere under "Library - My Collection" have a look there.

If you found it, you can then select "File Export" and select the options you want.

If your friend also has Basecamp, then the Best way to export is to choose "Gps Exchange Format (GPX)".

Even if he doesn't have Basecamp if you send him the gpx file he can simply place it in the GPX folder on his GPS.
