Despite all the work on newer versions 4.3.X till now, my Montana still isn't seen well when I

Open task launcher
Manage your device

there will be an error "failed to retrieve device data"
However 'edit transfer data' and 'check for updates' work

It's not really needed (I think) but still. All other Basecamp functions seem to work fine afaik on this moment.

Basecamp doesn't start after update

BaseCamp is 4.3.3 now available and can be downloaded here:

This release does not support XP.

Installation of this version will overwrite your previous BaseCamp installation.

I installed 4.3.3 on my Win7 PC. Installation went fine, but afterwards Basecamp doesn't start anymore.
Error message: "... prgram can't be startet, because MSVCR90.dll is missing on the Computer ..."
I downloaded the exe again from garmin.com, but same problem occurs again.
Any idea?

I had the same issue - I had to uninstall Basecamp and then install it again to fix the problem. A simple re-install (without the uninstall) did not fix the problem.

Also had to do a uninstall / install due to program crash (library not loaded correctly)! Annoying!

I've 4.3.3 Loaded but there is still a problem when creating new or amending existing routes (by moving map points).
I posted this problem last week shortly after loading 4.3.1 (I'm using Windows 8.1 and a "Direct" Profile for Walking)
Any changes made, or points added by adjusting route between main waypoints (for a new route) are not only being added to the "Properties" list (as one would expect), but now also to the "Route Directions" - essentially cluttering up the list with data which also exists in the "Properties" list. Surely this should not be happening. I've reverted to 4.25 which was working fine.

Agree, I find that annoying as well. Shouldn't happen.
I did the deinstall/reinstall now as well. All data (routes, waypoints, etc) are still there, only some configuration changes were lost.
