BaseCamp 4.3.2 is Now Available

BaseCamp is 4.3.2 now available and can be downloaded here:

http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4435

This release does not support XP.

Installation of this version will overwrite your existing 4.2.5 or 4.3.1 installation and replaces that version of BaseCamp.

Below is a list of changes.

Fixes for several startup issues
Fixed error after ejecting a device
Fixed the Device Transfer Options page not being enabled

Post here if you have questions.

The non-English language version of the software will be available through our auto-update server shortly.

Before using this release, back up your data.

Please post any bugs you may find here.

Basecamp won't start

I posted the update on my Dutch FB-page (https://www.facebook.com/mrgpsnl/posts/642639492492071) and have multiple install error reports within one hour.

Most concern the missing MSVCR90.dll error, but I also see 'runtime error' basecamp.exe R6034

Might be a 'local/language' issue?? Would advise to wait with auto-update.

I also get the MSVCR90.dll error. have tried reinstalling basecamp, installing the C++ runtime, copying MSVCR90.dll to my system 32 directory. Is there a fix? I'm pretty much out of business.

Which OS are you using? Have you uninstalled all versions of Basecamp, rebooted your PC then reinstalled Basecamp?

Basecamp won't start

:confused: I installed the update and cannot start Basecamp. Am running Windows 8.1 64 bit. Get the MSVCR90.dll is missing error. Tried reinstalling basecamp, installing C++ runtime, and copying the .dll to System32. Any fix out there?

If a full uninstall/reinstall hasn't worked hopefully one of the Basecamp team will be along shortly with further advice.

ran the 4.3.2 update this Friday AM without reading this forum first ;-(,

getting startup error: msvcr90.dll is missing from computer. Basecamp was working fine pre-upgrade, now dead in the water.

I was in same boat. as suggested in earlier post, I uninstalled basecamp completely (from control panel), then rebooted, then installed basecamp. Am now up and running - with all of the custom routes i had before. whew!:o

Installed the update yesterday with no issues, outside of a really long startup the first time, as it indexed all my data.

I notice that there is no selection (arrow) tool on the Map Tools toolbar. It's there in the menu and the keyboard shortcut 'S' works. But it's not in the toolbar.

You can set it to show in View, Toolbars

I just installed the new version and everything is working fine.
