BaseCamp 4.3.1 does not see Topo Canada

It seems to be a known issue, but is there a known solution?

Win 7 64 bit. Basecamp 4.3.1. Topo Canada v.4
BaseCamp shows only global map, or no map at all.

All works well at other comps with Win 32 (XP & Win 7)

How to fix it, with out using XP mode on Win 7?

How did you try to install Topo Canada onto your PC?

By running setup, while basecamp was not running. Set up finishes, suggests to run basecamp, which runs but shows no installed maps.

Nope.
BTW, some other maps do show up, Topo U.S. 24K West for example works just fine. What the heck?

Is this the map http://www.gpscentral.ca/accessories/mapsourcetopocanada.htm

If so I'd try contacting GPS Central to see if they can advise further.

The problem is solved by downloading of fresh Topo Canada v4. Apparently it is the same topographically, hence it has the same v.4, but knows what 64-bit OS is. I do not know how to distinguish one from the other, but mine was originally downloaded in 2009 and was 4.83Gb in volume, the one downloaded now has the same name, version and attributes, was posted in 2010 and is 5.21Gb.
