I have not long had a Garmin 62s and have an issue when using BaseCamp
I am getting straight lines from home to the start of a walk even when the 62s is off
Could anyone please tell me how to turn these off
Thanks Mike
Either use the split track tool in Basecamp to remove the straight line or when you get a satellite lock at the point you want to start recording do a 'clear current track' on your GPS.
What I do is to clear the current track at the start of my hike, then only I start the tracking. Now at the end of my track, I stop the tracking, save my track and clear the current track. When downloading to base camp, download the saved track. Using this method prevents those pesky straight lines from appearing. A bit cumbersome, I agree.
