I've got a question that maybe someone can answer. I run a route and on that route there are stops. The only trouble that I have is between the second and third stop. These two stops are exactly 2/10 of a mile apart from each other. My problem is that when I stop at the second stop cut the vehicle off and go inside and come back out and start the vehicle, the gps skips the third stop and goes to the fourth stop. For a new employee, he would miss the third stop entirely unless he is really paying attention and observing this as it is happening. The stops are far enough apart as to not affect each other and will follow through to the third stop if I do not cut off my vehicle. Is this a problem with basecamp or is it the gps that causes this.
If the GPS has to restart, perhaps you have reached the next stop before it has gained lock. Do you make sure that the GPS receiver remains on when the vehicle is stopped?
Have tried to leave it on and everything is fine but when the vehicle is turned off, it turns off. I would think that it should pick up where it left off as do the other stops when I cut the vehicle off.
