garming 62st not reporting two waypoints

I have a Garmin 62st. If I attach the device to a computer and look at the GPX/ files, I have 15 waypoints in 7 files. However, if i do a Find on the GPS, it only list 13 waypoints, 013 and 014 are missing, and it wants to name the new waypoint 014 .

how do i fix this???

If you see all the points on the device thru BaseCamp, transfer the points to a new BaseCamp List, delete them from the device, then resend them to the device.

If you do not see them all thru BaseCamp, then import the 7 files into BaseCamp to a new List, delete them from the device. Then send them back to the device via BaseCamp.

If you’re ever out in the field and have an SD card, this problem can sometimes be fixed by removing the card, starting the device and shutting it down, then reinstalling the card.

Make sure the firmware on the device is up to date.
